Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Mentor platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

User Accounts

Registration

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Promptly update any changes to your information
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Types

Mentees: Users seeking mentorship and booking sessions with mentors.

Mentors: Users offering mentorship services and accepting bookings. Mentors must:

• Accurately represent their experience and qualifications
• Provide services in a professional manner
• Honor confirmed bookings
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

• Mentees can book available time slots or request custom times
• Available slots are instantly confirmed upon payment
• Custom requests require mentor approval
• All bookings are subject to mentor availability

Payments

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are set by individual mentors
• Payment is required at the time of booking
• We do not store your payment information

Cancellation Policy

By Mentees:

• Cancellations made 24+ hours before session: Full refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours: No refund
• No-shows: No refund

By Mentors:

• Mentor cancellations result in automatic full refund
• Frequent cancellations may result in account suspension

User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Scrape or collect data from the platform
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Share your account credentials
• Conduct transactions outside the platform

Platform Fees

We charge a platform fee on each transaction to cover operating costs and payment processing fees. The current fee structure is:

• Service fee: [X]% of transaction amount
• Payment processing fee: Stripe standard rates

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mentor and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The quality of mentorship services provided by mentors
• Specific results from using the platform
• That defects will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MENTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions or omissions of mentors or mentees

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mentor from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another user
• Your content or conduct on the platform

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Violation of our policies
• At our sole discretion for any reason

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between parties
2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
3. Binding arbitration (if mediation fails)

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms
